Valbuena is out of the lineup for Wednesday's meeting with the Yankees after suffering a hamstring injury in Tuesday's contest. Fortunately, Valbuena will get even more time to recover Thursday as the Astros will be traveling to Detroit prior to their weekend series. There is hope that Valbuena will skirt a stint on the disabled list, but given the nature of hamstring injuries, there's no guarantee that he'll be ready to get back on the field by Friday.
