The Astros activated Correa (thumb) from the 10-day disabled list Sunday, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Houston has yet to unveil their lineup for the series finale against the Mets, but it's expected to feature Correa at shortstop with the 22-year-old having fully recovered from the torn thumb ligament that sidelined him for a month and a half. Correa's return means that Marwin Gonzalez will likely see most of his action in the outfield going forward, which could translate to fewer at-bats for the likes of Jake Marisnick, Cameron Maybin and Derek Fisher.
