The A's are expected to promote Neil Wagner from Triple-A Sacramento before Tuesday's game. Wagner has posted a cool 3.10 ERA and 34/10 K/BB ratio in 29 innings of relief this year at Sacramento. The 27-year-old right-hander will be making his major league debut and should do well in a middle relief role.
