Tepesch was sent outright to Triple-A Omaha on Friday, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.

Tepesch went unclaimed after being designated for assignment earlier in the month, so he'll stick with the Royals organization rather than test free agency at the end of the season. Tepesch posted a 3.94 ERA in 16 innings with the Storm Chasers this season, but it doesn't seem like he's primed to move up in the pecking order any time soon.
