Tejada went 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored Monday against the Padres. He played third base again and batted second, continuing a recent hot streak that's seen Tejada rack up eight hits in the last four games, including doubles in three straight. With his lack of both power and speed, not to mention his career .254 batting average, Tejada can't be counted on to keep this up, but he's in line to enjoy regular action at third for the time being.
