Tejada (quadriceps) was activated from the disabled list Monday.

Tejada has been out for a bit over two weeks with a quadriceps strain, but it appears he is back to full health and ready to slot into the Cardinals lineup. As it stands now, there's a good chance he'll assume the starting shortstop duties and move Jedd Gyorko and Aledmys Diaz into bench roles. In a corresponding move, Greg Garcia was optioned to Triple-A Memphis to make room for Tejada.
