Manager Terry Collins stuck by Tejada at short most of the 2014 season, but the skipper's patience eventually wore thin as Tejada continued to struggle at the dish and the team moved on to Wilmer Flores in August. The 25-year-old Tejada is skilled in the field, but those abilities likely won't be enough to earn him regular time to begin 2015.
