Teixeira went 0-for-3, but drove in his first run of the spring in Saturday's Grapefruit League win against the Tigers. It hasn't been a great spring for Teixeira as he's just 3-for-18 with no extra base hits in seven Grapefruit League appearances. He's still the go-to guy at first base for the Yankees, though given the team's willingness to try Alex Rodriguez out at first, the offseason acquisition of Garrett Jones, and his own personal injury history -- he's played in fewer than 125 games each of the last three seasons -- he could see more days off or at DH than in the past few years.
