Teixeira is out of the lineup Tuesday due soreness in his wrist, Meredith Marakovits of YES Network reports. Brian McCann will take over at first base Tuesday, with Teixeira's troublesome wrist presenting issues once again. Teixeira was productive in the first half of the season despite some lingering wrist soreness, but he's struggled in the second half to the tune of a .179/.283/.298 batting line. Consider him day-to-day ahead of Wednesday's series finale against Tampa.
