Teixeira is 3-for-17 through seven spring training games.
EDGE Analysis
Teixeira's 2015 season was cut short after suffering a fracture in his leg in August, but the ailment appears to be fully behind him as he enters the 2016 season at full health. The first baseman was enjoying one of his best seasons of recent vintage before going down, clubbing 31 homers with a .255 average that was his highest mark in five years. He'll once again man first base for the Yankees, but health has been an issue for the soon-to-be 36-year-old, as he hasn't appeared in 125 games since 2011.
