Teixeira (finger) is back in the lineup Sunday, but will need to go through batting practice to ensure his finger will hold up, Meredith Marakovits of the YES Network reports. Teixeira had his left pinky stitched up Thursday and it caused him to miss Friday and Saturday as well. He is back in the lineup Sunday on the condition that his finger makes it through batting practice before the game without issues.
