Boston Red Sox pitcher Tanner Houck has been optioned to the team's alternate site. Houck had an abysmal spring with the club. He walked 10 batters over 6.1 innings and posted an 8.53 ERA and 2.53 WHIP. The 24-year-old Houck made his MLB debut with the Red Sox in 2020 and performed exceptionally well.
