Tucker (shin) is taking live batting practice Friday, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

The big hurdle left for Tucker is running the bases, which Astros manager Joe Espada said Thursday could happen soon. A return in early September remains possible for Tucker, who has been sidelined since June 3.
