Galvis (quadriceps) took live batting practice off rehabbing Phillies starter Zach Eflin (kneecap) on Sunday, Matt Breen of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

While recovering from the right quad strain he sustained June 26 as a member of the Orioles, Galvis has yet to make an appearance for his new organization since being acquired ahead of the July 30 trade deadline. Galvis' ability to take swings on the field Sunday is a good sign, but he'll still need to complete a multi-game rehab assignment in the minors before the Phillies bring him back from the 10-day injured list.
