Taillon will miss two months due to an inguinal hernia, the Pittsburgh Tribune's Travis Sawchik reports. He will undergo surgery next week to tend to the issue, and while it is not an arm injury, it is still pretty brutal news for a player who was working diligently to return from Tommy John surgery. Taillon has been surpassed by Tyler Glasnow as the Pirates' top pitching prospect, but what Taillon had going in his favor was that he figured to beat Glasnow to the big leagues, but that may no longer be a guarantee. It would be surprising now if Taillon pitched for the Pirates this season, although it seems like he should have a good chance of entering camp fully healthy in 2016.
