This awful news comes after Taillon was placed on the disabled list with groin discomfort Saturday. A timetable for return obviously remains uncertain at this point, as his health and well-being remain the number one concern. Trevor Williams is occupying Taillon's spot in the rotation for the time being, though it's unclear if he'll continue to do so in an extended absence. Hopefully everything comes out well and he works toward a speedy recovery.
