Taillon was optioned back to Triple-A Indianapolis on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The second overall pick in the 2010 draft made his major league debut Wednesday against the Mets, tossing six innings and allowing three runs on six hits. While the 24-year-old figures to return to the Pirates at some point later in the year, he'll head back to the rotation at Indianapolis for the time being. In a corresponding move, the Pirates recalled Kyle Lobstein from Triple-A.
