Prior to the Royals drafting Asa Lacy, Lynch was the best pitching prospect in a system loaded with quality young starting pitchers. He is a big lefty with a plus fastball and a plus slider who is coming off an impressive run in the Arizona Fall League. That said, Lynch was likely going to spend most of the season in the upper levels of the minors under normal circumstances, so it's unclear if the Royals will find work for him in the majors this season.
