With Sweeney and Justin Ruggiano (ankle) both landing on the DL on Wednesday, the path his clear for prospect Jorge Soler to pick up at-bats in right field. Sweeney could be back with the Cubs before the end of the season, but he'll likely operate as a fourth or fifth outfielder once healthy.
