Suzuki signed a one year, $2 million contract on Tuesday, Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Following up on an earlier report, Suzuki will be locked with the Marlins for at least one more year. He wasn't the typical on-base machine that he has been in previous years, recording just a .229 batting average and .282 on-base percentage in 438 at-bats, but considering he's just 65 hits away from 3,000 he will likely get his fair-share of plate appearances in 2016.
