Stumpf (suspension) had his rehab assignment transferred to Double-A Reading, Stephen Gross of The Morning Call reports.

Stumpf is nearing the end of his 80 game suspension due to PED use, and will be eligible to return on July 10. He will head to Double-A Reading in the meantime for a tune up. The 25-year-old had a 40.50 ERA and 4.50 WHIP in 3 appearances prior to being suspended, so whether or not he will return as an effective pitcher is still to be seen.
