Lugo has allowed four or more runs just six times this year, but three of those instances have come over his last five starts. The Red Sox put up multiple runs in the second and sixth innings against him, sending him to his fourth loss in his last six outings. The right-hander has already set a career high in innings pitched this year with 155.2 over 24 starts.
