The Rockies led 6-2 after the second inning, but Quantrill let the Angels pull ahead by the end of the fourth. He was able to avoid a loss, but this was arguably his worst start of the season. He failed to complete five innings in two of his five starts in July, allowing 20 runs (19 earned) over 22.2 innings. For the season, he's posted a 4.50 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 90:45 K:BB through 118 innings over 22 starts. Quantrill is projected to make his next start at San Diego this weekend.
