Stroman pitched nine innings of two-run ball Saturday, but got a tough-luck no-decision despite only giving up only four hits and three walks over the nine frames against the Tigers.
The three walks tied a season high, and he only struck out four, but it was perhaps his most impressive start of the season. He became the first Blue Jays rookie to pitch nine innings since 2005. After a rough start where he only went three innings against the Astros his last time out, Stroman returned to the form that allowed him to post a 1.71 ERA in July. He'll take the ball again Friday on the road against the White Sox.
