Stroman lasted only 0.2 innings Friday night, as he surrendered five earned runs on five hits while striking out one in an 11-5 loss to the White Sox. Coming off of a strong nine-inning performance versus the Tigers last Saturday, Stroman struggled mightily Friday night and failed to escape the first frame. After posting a 2.18 ERA across 10 starts in June and July, the rookie right-hander has now been hit hard in 2-of-3 outings this month. With a career-high 122.2 innings between Toronto and Triple-A Buffalo already under his belt this year, Stroman could certainly be wearing down a bit.
