Stroman has been diagnosed with a right elbow contusion, Gregor Chisholm of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
X-rays were negative, which is great news as it looked like a potentially serious injury when it first happened. The ball that struck Stroman was clocked at 107.5 mph off the bat of Mark Trumbo, and Stroman was writhing in pain on the ground immediately following the incident. His status for his next start may not be determined until early next week.
