Stroman allowed two runs on seven hits, walking one and striking out four over six innings of a 7-4 win against Tampa Bay on Wednesday night. Stroman (9-5, 3.83 ERA) weathered a 30-minute power outage in the third inning and returned to complete six solid innings. He cruised through four, but was challenged when the Rays began to put runners on base in the fifth and sixth. He is a bright spot in the rotation despite the need to work on his delivery from the stretch. He'll get the Cubs at the Rogers Centre next time out.
