Swaggerty, who was optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis on Tuesday, is dealing with soreness in his left shoulder, Justice delos Santos of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Swaggerty underwent surgery on his right shoulder last June, but it's the other shoulder that prevented him from getting into Grapefruit League games before he was optioned. While he's been cleared to hit, the continued soreness has delayed his throwing progression. He's uncertain to be ready to play when the Triple-A season begins in April.
