Boston Red Sox knuckleballer Steven Wright is heading to the disabled list with left knee inflammation. This is a big blow for the Red Sox as Wright has been filling in admirably for fellow starter Drew Pomeranz, who is also injured. Wright had an egregious effort last game which saw him give up 10 earned runs over 3 1/3 innings against the Seattle Mariners, but before that outing he had a 1.23 ERA over 46 2/3 innings on the year.
