Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Steven Souza (strained pectoral) could be ready for a rehab assignment within a week or so. News that Souza is almost ready to play in live games comes as a bit of a surprise as early timelines projected he would return close to mid-May. If the assignment goes well Souza could return the to Diamondbacks lineup in late April. Owners with an available DL slot should add Souza before his impending return.
