St. Louis Cardinals left-hander Steven Matz (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Memphis on Tuesday. The expectation is that he will pitch two innings in Tuesday's rehab outing. Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol stated that once Matz is ready to return to the Cardinals, he'll have a decision to make in regards to the team's starting rotation.
