Steve Pearce went 2-for-3 and knocked in three runs Wednesday in the Orioles' 10-7 victory over the Yankees. The Orioles have assembled quite a list of bench candidates, having picked up Danny Valencia, Conor Jackson, Russ Canzler, Chris Dickerson, Travis Ishikawa and Trayvon Robinson over the winter. Pearce is one of the players with a shot of making the team as a right-handed caddy for Chris Davis and Wilson Betemit, but since he's not on the 40-man, he seems more likely to start off in Triple-A.
