Boston Red Sox first baseman/outfielder Steve Pearce (shin) is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game versus the Toronto Blue Jays. Pearce is reportedly still sore after taking a pitch off his left shin during Thursday's contest. Mitch Moreland will start at first base and bat fifth against lefty Ryan Borucki on Friday. Pearce should only be owned in AL-only leagues right now. Moreland should be avoided in DFS contests on Friday.
