Steve Pearce has been receiving treatment on both wrists for the past month. Pearce landed on the DL Friday with left wrist tendinitis, but he's had the same issue with his right wrist. The 30-year-old thinks the problem has cropped up due to him taking too many swings in the batting cage. He's eligible to return on July 5 but will need a rehab assignment first.
