Steve Pearce has been given a cortisone shot in his left wrist. Pearce was placed on the DL last Friday with left wrist tendinitis, but he's been receiving treatment on both wrists for the past month. Obviously the Orioles are hoping the shot speeds along the healing process. There's no timetable for his return.
