Steve Cishek worked a scoreless inning against the Reds on Friday, preserving a 2-1 lead and recording his first save of the young season. Cishek allowed a leadoff single to Zack Cozart, but calmly retired the next three hitters in order to end the proceedings. His save chances may be limited pitching for a poor Miami squad, but Cishek has certainly proven himself to be a capable closer.
