Milwaukee Brewers catcher Stephen Vogt (shoulder strain) has been cleared by doctors to start a throwing program, and he will most likely begin the program later this week. Vogt had a decent hitting year last season with Milwaukee, averaging a .254 batting average and eight home runs in 122 at-bats and may split starts with Manny Pina at catcher.
