Stephen Drew (concussion) is scheduled to take batting practice on the field Wednesday. Drew is doing everything but playing in games at this point, but he's experiencing some minor symptoms related to his concussion earlier this month. According to Red Sox manager John Farrell, usually they occur at night following a full day of activity. Drew is expected to travel with the team to New York for the start of the season, but he's almost certainly headed for the disabled list. Jose Iglesias will handle shortstop duties during his absence.
