Stephen Drew (ankle) went 1-for-4 in an extended spring training game Thursday. It was his first game action since undergoing ankle surgery last July. While he didn't run the bases or play in the field, he's certainly moving in the right direction. The 29-year-old shortstop is unlikely to come off the disabled list until May. Willie Bloomquist and John McDonald will continue to fill in at shortstop for now.
