Stephen Drew (ankle) is scheduled to take four at-bats Thursday in an extended spring game. Drew will jog lightly out of the box after contact but won't run the bases. He's also not expected to play the field at any point Thursday. The 29-year-old shortstop seems doubtful to join the Diamondbacks' starting lineup until May. Willie Bloomquist and John McDonald will continue to fill in at shortstop for the Snakes.
