Stephen Drew (ankle) is expected to play in another extended spring training game over the weekend. "Hopefully we can progress him," manager Kirk Gibson said after Drew went 1-for-4 in an extended spring game on Thursday. "He didn't seem to be concerned with anything." Drew also played for six outs in the field, and encountered no issues running to first. "I still have to build up - I basically only played one inning," Drew told MLB.com. "It's not like you can shove yourself into a game after one inning. I didn't have any setbacks, but we're going through the training right now."
