Stephen Drew (ankle) indicated Thursday that he might not be ready for the start of the regular season. Drew suffered a fractured right ankle last July while sliding into home plate. "The doctor said it was going to be a year process, and now I'm at month seven," the 28-year-old shortstop told MLB.com. "Flexibility is back to normal. Now I just have to get the strength back." Perhaps he'll try to play through the initial weakness.
