The Mets outrighted Woods to Triple-A Syracuse on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Scooped up off waivers from Atlanta on Nov. 18, Woods stuck on the Mets' 40-man roster for just over five weeks before he was designated for assignment shortly before the new year. He was able to pass through waivers this time around, so he'll stick around in the Mets organization and likely open the upcoming season at Syracuse. The 24-year-old reliever posted a 5.19 ERA and 1.29 WHIP over 17.1 innings at Triple-A Gwinnett last season.
