Stauffer was released by the Twins on Wednesday, LaVelle Neal of the Star-Tribune reports. Stauffer posted an ERA of 6.60 over 15 innings with the Twins this season before being designated for assignment June 10. He'll now become a free agent, but it's unclear how much interest he'll garner on the pitching market.
