Fried (forearm) will be activated from the 15-day injured list to start Sunday's contest versus the Marlins, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Fried was rumored to be on the cusp of a return from the IL. The 30-year-old has been sidelined since July 21 as a result of left forearm neuritis, but he'll make his return to the rotation Sunday after missing the minimum amount of time. Fried will look to take advantage of Miami's subpar lineup in the series finale.
