Moncada (thigh) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Charlotte on Tuesday, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Moncada started his initial rehab assignment in early July but was pulled off after just five games due to general soreness. He's now ready to give it a go again, setting up a potential early-September return if all goes well this time around. Moncada's last game with the White Sox before he suffered an adductor strain came back in early April.
