Although Mitch Garver (elbow) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Thursday, he hasn't yet been cleared to resume throwing. Garver will be able to serve as the designated hitter now that he's back on the active roster, but Heim should continue to see plenty of playing time behind the dish while Garver is limited to DH work.
