Deichmann made his MLB debut Friday and will now be starting for the third time in the team's last four games. The 26-year-old is off to a 2-for-9 start with an RBI. Deichmann may continue to see semi-regular playing time with Jason Heyward (finger) on the injured list and the Cubs turning their focus toward 2022. While he's not considered an elite prospect by any means, Deichmann does offer some power potential and might be worth a flier if he shows some signs of life at the plate.
