Stanton went 2-for-5 with a run, two RBI and a stolen base in Friday's win over the Braves. While the slugger failed to homer for the first time in his last four games, he continues on a torrid pace. Stanton is slashing a robust .296/.402/.567 this season while already setting career bests in runs (87), RBI (104) and steals (11). He's also just one home run shy of matching his career-high mark of 37 with 23 games left to play. The Marlins dwindling playoff hopes may be the only thing standing between Stanton and the National League MVP award.
