Giancarlo Stanton
DH NYY
Stanton went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Wednesday's win over the Cubs.
Stanton is batting an even .200 (22-for-110) over the past 30 days, dropping his average to a disappointing .231 with a .325 OBP this season. Of course, he also boasts a .533 slugging percentage with 17 home runs and 46 RBI through 53 games as he continues to deliver massive power totals. A lowly .264 BABIP (compared to .329 for his career) deserves some of the blame for his batting average struggles, so it's difficult to be concerned about the slugger moving forward. Expect that average to rise quickly as more of his balls in play fall in.
